Selling on Ebay generally

I Love using Ebay (to sell my stamp collection bit by bit)-I am somewhat dismayed however with the recent changes especially the charge to buyers-but this gripe is not about that. When did selling a few bits on Ebay become known as "Side Hustling"? Ok-I am getting on a bit-phraseologies change (probably spelt that wrong!!) but I am now a "Side Hustler" and I'm not sure I like it.

Yes,  I thought that was odd especially as hustle means to swindle!

I wish Ebay had not put that announcement on the front page here.

By tomorrow (or later today) people will be saying that the trading allowance has gone up to £3000.

It has not.  The government have said they will raise the allowance to £3000 by the end of this parliament.

If that is supposed to make us all feel better - it didn't work for me.  (Pensioner and WASPI woman)
