Selling car but only option is cash on collection

I've put our car on eBay but the only option for payment is cash on collection. Why can't we opt for PayPal as certainly don't really want cash in our home!

NEVER accept ebay payments for cars,

In theory buyer could claim item not received. 

Cash is best anyway as there is no ebay MBG for cars.

Buyers cannot pay for cars through ebay checkout, but you could take payment directly through PayPal if PayPal rules allow it and both of you have PayPal accounts.

Cash also means bank transfer, it doesn't have to mean notes.

You would need to check PayPal buyer protection.

There is no protection from Paypal for buyer or seller,bank transfer is best after buyer has seen the car and is happy with it.
