Hi , I currently have a caravan awning for sale but am in hospital for a few weeks , if I receive the monies and am using a collection code / scan code , is it possible my son can carry out the handover on my behalf , it is  buyer to collect from home .

Yes, if your son has access to your eBay account he can add the collection code to the order details when the buyer collects. 

Or, if you don't want him to have access then he can just get the code from the seller and pass it on to you and you then add it.
