Not sure where i stand with this one but i'm guessing i will be told, rules are rules, that said, any help/advice would be most appreciated.
So, i purchased an item which arrived damaged, the seller didn't need me to send it back but did say they would send a replacement, the replacement got lost so in the end the seller said they would refund the purchase, in good faith i waited for the refund, as Ebay ask to try and work things out with sellers amicably but having to wait for the replacement which never arrived and then the refund which too wasn't received has now pushed me over the time limit for Ebay's money back guarantee, also the seller is now no longer a registered user so the option to work things out is no longer there, will i just have to accept the fact that i am now out of pocket or is there still a chance of a refund?
Thank you for any help/advice in advance.

No chance on ebay if you are over the 30 days to open a dispute.
You are correct that the rules are there and nothing you can do if you are out of time.
Try your card provider see if they will help.

Sorry but your seller was just getting you out of time.
Always go for a refund, then if appropriate buy again. Never wait for replacements which seller has no intention of sending.
