Seller sent wrong item, do I need to return it?

I bought an item from someone and they sent me something else, I'd rather keep what they sent me but I'm not sure if I'm allowed. Could someone help?

Ask the seller, it is not what we think that matters, it is the seller who can decide. Ebay would never know what arrangement you came to and in any case would not care.
