Seller refusing to sell.

Bid and won an item. Immediately got a message "I'm not selling it that cheap"

Wait, you put it on with a starting bid and no reserve price or buy it nowprice, it is an auction site. If you put something up on an auction you cant expect to receive top price for it. This is why Ebay is losing users to sites like vinted. Used to be aa place wwwith integrity, wasn't meant to be a place for businesses. If you want to make money selling- open a shop.

Seller refusing to sell.

This is very bad selling, and yes, all the seller needed to do was to list with the lowest amount they were happy to receive,  but there's  nothing to enforce the seller to post an item.

What reason did they give for cancelling?

If out of stock,  they will have received a defect on their account.  If they stated Buyer Requested to cancel,  you can,  if you wish,  contact Customer Services explain this was not the case,  you were disappointed not to receive your item, and they may place that damaging defect on the seller's account,  though you would not know the outcome.

Contact them through the link below, it seems to be only an automated chat no Call Back option if using a desktop browser, but others have found a Call Back option on the app or mobile browser.

Seller refusing to sell.

Also leave negative feedback. Just say “Seller refused to honour the sale” and mark down the star ratings to 1.
