Seller posted item as a letter instead of a parcel, so I was charged by Royal Mail.

I brought an item that the seller posted as a 2nd class letter. I was contacted by Royal Mail and instructed to pay for the additional postage costs because it was a parcel not a letter. The Seller is refusing to accept responsiblity and ebay doen't have an option to report this.. Has anyone had a similar issue and resolved it?

The seller put the wrong postae on, and so you have paid a surcharge. You could have refused to pay this surcharge, left the parcel in the DO and opened a case for Not Received and received a full refund.

Now that you have paid it ebay will not help you to get it back as they don't get involved with postage.

You can leave appropriate feedback to warn other buyers and mark the seller's stars down.
