Seller not responding for support with faulty product

I bought a drill a few months back and it has stopped working.  I contacted the seller and they responded asking for order number (which I assumed they'd have as I contacted them via the purchase page) and a description of the fault.  This was provided. They responded to a further message asking for details, which were provided. However, they have now stopped responding to my requests for help.  How do I contact Ebay to ask them to step in to resolve the issue as I'm going round in circles trying to find help. Where's the resolution Centre gone?

Thanks

Sorry but ebay only allow 30 days from date of delivery for claims.   Beyond that contact your payment provider and see if they can help.

the transaction is too old for eBay to help you.

Try your payment provider for a refund.

You don't. There is a link to eBay's money back guarantee in every listing. Right at the top of the guarantee page it explains: "your purchase is covered by eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the estimated or actual delivery date."

After 30 days eBay will not help. As you have discovered, many sellers on eBay don't want to know about after-sales problems. Even manufacturers' warranties are often invalid for items bought on eBay.

It's so important for buyers to realise that buying from unknown sellers on eBay is not like buying from the shops. It's so important to read an understand eBay's money back guarantee to learn what's covered, and for how long. Because this may be the only protection they will get.

Thanks for the responses. So basically, if buying from 'unknown' sellers,
you may well be missing out on after sales care if faults develop and don't
get normal consumer protections. Oh well, I've learnt that now and
fortunately, it was an inexpensive purchase. My fault for not reading ebay
terms and conditions! Lesson learnt.
