Seller not honouring warranty

Hello. I purchased an expensive item in Dec 2024. Prior to purchase I enquired about the warranty. The seller replied one year. The device malfunctioned after 7 months and now the seller is saying they won’t cover it. Luckily I have thr messages confirming the warranty.
I want to contact eBay suooort about this disappointing issue, but can’t find any option to do so for this particular issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ebay don't get involved with warranties.

Outside of the 30 days Ebay give you to return a faulty item, this sort of issue is entirely between you and the seller.

They should not be allowing sellers to promise a warranty they don’t honour. Luckily i bought with PayPal.

Paypal won't do anything either.

They give you 30 days to initiate a chargeback for a faulty item and a very generous 180 days to start a claim for an item not received.
