Have just sold a Ralph Lauren coat, and this was the message it received from the buyer. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.
Good day,I hope this message finds you well. Reaching out re: the total cost in USD. I just spent 40 minutes on the phone with eBay. Based on conversion rates, the total in USD should have been $214, yet the total converted to $225. No idea why. Perhaps you can look into and let me know what I may be missing, or if there was an error and issue a refund. Thank you very much!

Ebay conversion rates are not very good for buyers.
But not really your concern.
You receive sterling amount of sold price.
You will also pay slightly higher fee as non UK buyer.

Although your item is priced in £, the buyer would always have seen the price in $ so the final amount should not have been a surprise.
However, the buyer looks as if they might be a pain so, personally, I would send a message saying you can't adjust the price and Ebay set the conversion rate but, as the buyer is unhappy with the price, would they like to cancel.
I would rather have a cancellation at this stage than a return later. If the buyer was to open an 'item not as described' case, getting the coat back would be expensive and tricky. Just my thoughts!
