SIMPLE DELIVERY

Whoever devised Simple Delivery is obviously not an Ebay seller!!  The whole scheme is absurd!!  I'm hoping that thousands of people, if not millions!!, will email Ebay to say that until the Simple Delivery system is abandoned then they will not be listing anything, I certainly won't be!!

Which board should I be posting my comment on? this is the first time that I've commented and I just thought there was one community board.

I'm not surprised that you are being overrun on threads about this subject, as I pointed out in my previous reply, this is the first time that I've commented on a community board and appear, according to you, to have posted my comment on the wrong board and feel as if I have been reprimanded 🙄, what do you mean by 'fastidious posts on the matter'...do tell 🙂.

You originally posted on the 'Member to Member' board which is intended for asking questions that can be answered quickly and which can only be responded to by 'Mentors'.

@tommystrezures was simply trying to point that you would be better posting on one of the other boards where anyone can respond and the subject can be discussed in much more detail (fastidious = detailed).  He wasn't reprimanding you, just may have come across that way. 

Your post has now been moved to the 'Postage' board, presumably by the moderators, so anyone will be able to respond now.

Thank you for your reply and for explaining which board that I had posted to and that it was not the appropriate board for my comment.

I understood what @tommystrezures  was trying to do but being a mentor does not entitle one to adopt a tone of reply that gives one the impression that one is being reprimanded and I feel that a further explanation from him, regarding the different community boards, would have been far more helpful.    Whilst I know what the word 'fastidious' means, I cannot see how it relates in any way to my comment hence my asking him what he means by 'fastidious' (in relation to my comment).

If you read what that mentor posted, you will see that he was not referring to your comment as fastidious.   He does not say 'many other fastidious posts'.

Sorry but with over 100 posts on the exact same subject some if them with over 1000 reply's, I'm not surprised one of the mentors was a little blunt, not rude just factual.

I pointed out in my reply that it was the first time that I had commented on a community board and that I had no idea that there were different boards.   Perhaps the mentor needed to step back for a while if he felt overwhelmed, or simply move my comment to the board that he felt would be most appropriate and politely explain the different boards and their functions with a helpful tone rather than the blunt one.

I agree that he does not say 'many other fastidious posts' but why even use the word fastidious in relation to my comment at all?  What has my comment got to do with 'others with many fastidious posts on the matter'? (as he put it).    My comment is a statement about the action I have taken due to 'Simple Delivery'.
