Royal Mail Tracked 48 cover

Hi these and thanks for your assistance,

I have sold an item last year in November and unfortunately it has never reached the buyer. I followed RM process and logged a claim (item selling price £46 +pp). I have chased this in January this year and again beginning of this month. After few emails with RM they played their game not to pay, last request was for the purchase invoice and they specified that they will pay the purchasing price and not selling as I am a business. I send them anything they asked for, but I was shocked when I received a cheque of only £26.8 being £20 for the item and £6.8 postage.  I have gone back to them explaining that they made a mistake somewhere but got a reply that eBay postage labels for tracked 48 are only covering up to £20. Have you ever had this before, is this true?

Thanks

Well the latest booklet shows cover up to £75, but what arrangements RM have with ebay I have no idea, but does not seem right.

I would never buy postage direct from ebay, too many complications and different rules as I expect ebay makes money this way.

I would suggest buying direct from RM online in future but think you need to confirm with ebay what cover they think is provided.
