Hi everyone, my husband has been selling my sons Lego sets for the past year or so (there’s lots!) and all has been well, until now. All of a sudden, and for the past couple of weeks, he’s had 3 cancelled bids and 2 non-payers. At first we thought nothing if it, but as we’ve started looking into this we’ve found that some are overseas buyers that have no history of purchases or sales, and based in Kuwait and Mexico. He’s turned off international sales now, but await the next ‘silly’ cancellation. Is anyone else experiencing odd bidding and purchasing behaviour at the moment (internationally or uk)?

As well as opting out of eBay's Global Shipping programme also block "buyers whose primary delivery address is in a location I don't post to" on here:
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
Select "Apply above settings to active and future listings" at the bottom and then submit.

You say overseas sales now turned off, but unless you quote an overseas postage cost even if you say that you post overseas, buyers cannot pay.
These buyers could even be genuine, but would not have been able to pay, so being a non payer makes sense.
By cancelled bids, do you mean before end of auction as once sold buyers are unable to cancel bids or the purchase. Only seller can cancel a sale.

One buyer asked to cancel because they said they entered the wrong amount, and the other said the goods wouldn’t arrive on time. We agreed a refund for both as we didn’t want any hassle….
Maybe it’s a coincidence all this is happening at the same time, just feels weird that we’re not actually getting as far as posting anything at the moment!
