Hi I’ve sold an item and posted it to buyer which they’ve asked to cancel which I approved but how do I go about getting back my item from buyer thanks for your help

If they opened a return on ebay they must send the item back before you issue the refund.    If it's a "change of mind" return, eg. doesn't fit, they must pay the postage themselves.     If it's a "not as described" return they will be automatically issued with a postage label paid for by you when you accept the return.    They send item back and then refund is issued.

You can't retrieve parcel now it is posted.

Buyer can open change of mind return,  if you accept, they pay for tracked return postage.

ebay would have told you what if anything they have done. It is up to buyer to return to you by tracked mail and you only refund when received back. Nothing you can do now until returned.

Yeah I found that out after the fact but the buyer has been in touch and said they will get it back to me asap cheers for your advice
