Returns for refund

Hi, I ordered 2 cd albums off 2 separate sellers, and they weren't as described when I received them. I initiated a returns and refunds, which both seller agreed to. Im problem is this: Before i could return these two items to them, I was involved in an accident which resulted in me having to stay in hospital. I went over the time limit for returns as a result, and the case has been closed.

My question is: Is there anything I can do to get this resolved as previously agreed to? Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't able to carry the returns. The items are packed ready. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Re: Returns for refund

I'm very sorry to hear what happened to you,  but under eBay's rules,  once a case is closed it cannot be reopened,  so nothing to enforce the sellers to receive back and refund you.

You could try your payment provider for help with these refunds.

Re: Returns for refund

Sorry to hear this, but in all fairness to those sellers they agreed to the return and followed the correct process and will have waited a considerable amount of time before those return cases timed out.

Trying to issue a chargeback via your card provider will be extremely unfair on them as they'll be hit with a £16 admin fee, and as you've already had eBay return cases close when the ball was firmly in your court it could backfire on you.

Perhaps list them yourself?
