Returned item

I sent out the wrong items to two buyers. They both received the others order. Both were happy to get the correct figures sent out to them. One went through Ebay, the other returned theirs via Royal Mail.

I can easily send the figures to the buyer who went through Royal Mail. However, for the buyer who went through Ebay, Ebay has said to refund this buyer. Is there any way round this and what are the steps I can or cannot take.

The buyer could close the return at their end but that's risky for them so it's best to issue a refund and relist for them to buy again.

Thanks for the advice. I'll message the buyer and advise them I'll need to register the item after I've refunded them.
