Hi i’ve been sold an article that is very far away from how it was described. eBay have rejected my appeal out of hand. They have not asked me a single question. It was just a message saying your return has been closed. I have spent nearly £500 and I think it’s disgusting that eBay can just dismiss my return without any consideration, or asking a single question about the article or the transaction. I feel like I’ve been stolen from eBay have facilitated it. I would appreciate any feedback as I wish to make people aware how bad the services is, I give eBay 0 out of 10. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Did you open item not as described case?

There is no need to contact eBay, cases are automated.

What did you buy? What reason did you give for return?

If you used “Does not fit” that is classed as a change of mind return, and private sellers do not have to accept this sort of return!

The whole process is automated, ebay does not ask questions, so long as the correct case is opened, sellers lose every time.

Only other reason for a case being closed immediately is if you were over the 30  days allowed.
