I started a return but cancelled it as I had entered the wrong reason. Now when I click on RETURN it sates this return is closed. I need to start a fresh return but don't know how.

Can anybody help and advise me on this subject

Unfortunately you cannot open another eBay case.

You could try PayPal or your payment provider.
