Return of damaged item

I ordered something and it arrived damaged, not what I ordered (with spelling errors on the box!) and as it was a gift, I requested a return. The seller accepted my return and sent a postage label. When I tried to get to the postage label, I can’t access/print it as not says the item has been dispatched for return. I’ve contacted the seller and asked for a postage label again, but they keep coming back and asking if I’ve dispatched it. I can’t contact eBay as their system shows it’s in transit so I’m in a loop now and missing out on returning this item for a refund. What can I do?!!

Return of damaged item

Contact eBay Customer Services explain what has happened and they should provide the correct level for you if it's for a case of item not as described,  and you're still in time to open this case,  that is,  within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
