Return issue, not sure what to do next

Hoping someone can advise.

Had a buyer message stating that item was not as described and wanted nearly a 50% refund. As this was an expensive item I asked for them to request a return through Ebay, they did not want to but started demanding the partial refund.

Several weeks later they opened a return case still stating that I had agreed to the partial refund (I had not) so I sent a returns label for them to return the item.

There is 8 days left for the parcel to be sent back, partial refund still being demanded. Now they are stating that Ebay have told them that the parcel is too big to return,  I would have to collect (200 miles) so they want the partial refund.

The parcel was sent to buyer by royal mail 48 through Ebay and was well within weight and size. Return label was sent to buyer with no problem either.

What do I do next?

Thanks

Ignore them.   They're angling for money off and keep the item.    ebay only allow 30 days for claims so if it's after that their case will just expire eventually.

And put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

Do not make any refund without a return --- you are not required to offer a partial refund --- let the case proceed to end time.
