Restrictions

Hello there 

can someone please advise.  my ebay account has a restriction I have no email about this and ebay will not remove it. I am able to chat but the agents are unhelpful.  I would like to sell again. When I call  ebay they do call me back they have blocked my number.

Looking at past feedback, you received negs for quality of your items.

No doubt you had defects as well.

But only ebay will know the true reason.

Once a restriction like yours is in place, rarely removed.

I see you can still buy though, so restriction obviously linked to your past selling.

I can see that I received 100% feedback I can’t see any defects has I haven’t sold anything. When I try and chat to ebay they refuse to give me an answer then they hang up and when I try call they simply don’t call back so how can appeal this.

We have no access to your account and eBay will not discuss restrictions .

However,  if you do not have any message from eBay stating you have a permanent or indefinite restriction those are lifetime bans,  no appeal, I'm wondering as you have had a long break from selling, have you registered for eBay's Managed Payments?

You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified.  The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive,  and confirm to eBay.

Once this is completed,  you will be able to list items for sale,  and receive payouts from those sales.

Feedback percentages are worked out over a 12 month rolling period, but the neutrals and negatives you received a while back indicate that, when you received a selling restriction, there were some issues with your sales.

If this resulted in a selling restriction then you can only use your account for buying.
