Hi guys, Please I your help on how I can recoup my money from this eBay seller, I feel is a fraudster. I bought an iPhone 15 replacement screen from this seller which was describe as 100% genuine and original for a family member who lives overseers.
When they received the screen and attempted to configure it, a message popped up indicating that the screen has been marked as lost. I shared this message with the seller and he stated that it was past two months so he cannot do anything about it.
I feel I have been scammed and this seller must be blacklisted on eBay, and my money fully refunded. How do you go about this ?
I need help and advise.
Ben

You have received an item not as described, go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select... Return this item selecting the reason Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.
The seller needs to accept this case within 3 days and refund, if they want their item back first , they need to pay for that fully tracked return postage, then on receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you. If they don't , need to escalate the case, ask eBay to step in, and they'll force the refund.
Never listen to any excuse or promise from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.
If a number of these cases for the same reason, are opened for this seller, this will raise red flags to eBay and they can act with sanctions for selling or even bans.

You have 30 days only to start a return through Ebay. You may be able to get a refund through your payment source.
Ebay won't ban a seller on the basis of one report.
You can leave negative feedback to warn other buyers.

Sorry you are out of time for any action through ebay, and in any case forwarding overseas would also have invalidated the money back guarantee.
You could speak to your payment provider to see if they can help, but doubt it as you have nothing to return to seller.
