Repair and restoration of leather country boots

A member is offering a repair service for Dubarry country boots but only shows one feedback for that service. Lots of Dubarry boots by the same seller being offered for sale and feedback relating to things they’ve sold. How can I find out if this is genuine? I might send off my boots and never see them again, having paid a lot of money for new soles and reconditioning the leather.

in any event the only protection you might have is for the money you pay out.

If the seller is not a registered business seller they are breaking eBay rules and the law.

There is no buyer protection on eBay for services, e.g. shoe repairs.

If there are any problems it will be between you and the seller.
