Refunding a buyer

I am new to selling on eBay and I need to refund a buyer for postage and the cost of the item but I can’t see how I can do this.  I don’t need the item back so don’t need to send return postage but I have set my account up as no returns. Can any help me and explain how I refund this person the full amount including postage. Thank you.

Refunding a buyer

Ask the buyer to open a return for ' received wrong item'. As soon as you receive the case / the return, refund fully through those case details,  this shows you do not want the item sending back.  It's also a reason not for eBay to step in and refund themselves.  It will refund everything the buyer initially paid you.

Refunding through those case details within 3 days, doing so immediately,  and your seller performance is not affected.

The buyer should still be able to open a return and you'll have the option to refund without getting the item back.
