Refund

I bought a product three weeks ago, after contacting the seller I was told I selected the wrong drop down. However even the wrong item hadn’t been sent and there was no communication from the seller. 
I applied for a refund but the seller messaged me and asked me to close the case and cancel the order or they would get charged.

 

Benefit of the doubt I did as she asked in order to receive a refund. This now gives me the problem ebay thinks I have solved the problem and the seller is now ghosting me. 

what do I do?

Yes, unfortunately that's a tactic by bad sellers.    Contact your payment provider and see if they can help with a refund.

You should never close a case until the issue has been fully and properly resolved.

Try your payment provider for a refund.
