I bought an item described as a cooking pan.
when it arrived it was the size of a cup, not a cookware item or pan.
The image misleading.
I requested a refund as the item was not as described.
I was offered a fraction of the cost as a refund. Then slightly more.
I was then asked to pay to return the item to china. Which I refused.
The seller then stated I would receive a return postage label by 26 April.
it is now 8 May.
i cannot ask for eBay to step in because the refund request case is open.
the seller is not replying to emails.
How does eBay buyer protection work?
How do I progress this?
I do not want the item as it is not what was described
I have followed the suggested route to get a refund.
it's over two months now since this case was opened.
Any advice?
Thankyou.

You go to case and escalate (ebay to step in)
Can only be done within 30 days of case opening.
Ignore seller and escalate ASAP.

Sorry, just seen you opened case 2 months ago, so too late to escalate to ebay.
Try your payment provider.
In future, never let sellers string you along, open case within 30 days of buying and escalate after 4 days.
