Refund on failed electrical item after 3 months

Can anyone help please bought a inverter for £150 new, it has feed after 3 months, PayPal has said it is out of its 30 return window,  and I can't see a return option on the purchased item, and seller not espousing? Any advice appreciated please.

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  You can try your payment provider for help with a refund.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.

If you bought from a UK business seller, you could try Citizens Advice to see if they can suggest what you should do next.

Like Paypal, Ebay allow you 30 days only to start a return.
