Hi, i ordered a 10 litre tin of white emulsion. However, I received a damaged 5 litre plastic pot of grey fence paint! I informed the seller and they initially asked if id accept a 20% refund (price paid £28) ? Of course I declined, they then provided an Evri return QR code. I immediately went to post it ,however, the printed label from QR code wouldn't scan on shops device. The shop keeper advised that they would see if the Evri collection persons device would work and if so they would let me know....the Evri rep collected the item after successfully scanning. Since this time (2 Jan 2026 to current day 14 Jan 2026) I've not received my refund.
I've contacted an Ebay agent 3 times, 1st one said a refund had been issued to my account by ebay (not received) the second agent informed me to cancel the return and submit another one and she guided me through the process..to no avail and the 3rd rep informed me that without proof of collection it is I who is the dishonest person in this instance and I'm to blame for being conned!! What should I do now please????
