Questionable seller bidding

I recently noticed a seller’s items having bids go up for the same amount by two buyers across multiple items? 

Feels like they are doing this on their end to raise the bidding. The bidding went up 200% from the last bids. Is this allowed?

Yes a bidder can increase their own bid, but as they cannot bid against themselves it will show the same amount as their previous bid,  and will only show its true bid when someone places a higher bid, which can indeed be hundreds of percent higher.
