Query about codes to release funds

My buyer got DPD to pick up the item i sold.   What is this code though that I'm supposed to input so funds can be released.   I have a copy of the DPD tracking label.  No idea of what ebay is asking for.   Does the buyer need to let ebay know she's recieved the item ?

Ask the buyer for the code,it should be in their messages or an email from eBay without the code you will have to wait 14 days for the payment to br released

Thank you for your reply.    I think my buyer will have to let ebay know that its been collected, but by courier.  To be honest, neither myself or her are very good with this.   She has told me before collection that she did not have a code , where does she get that from ?   Sorry to sound so dense.   If however we cannot get round this, ebay will automatically release the funds after 2 weeks, & I'll wait.   Thank you again.

Ebay will have emailed the buyer the code and it will be on her order page.  There is no question that she has it.

There is no other way to confirm collection.
