Has anybody else experienced a degree of confusion when trying to select the correct quantity of an item you wish to order? There is often more than one 'quantity ' box to select (see attached screen grab). Surely, once you have specified the item you require there should only be one 'quantity' option to select. I think this is something eBay could take a look at because, as things stand, it is all too easy to order the wrong quantity!

That is the only way that sort of listing can show all the options.
It is used in a lot of categories where there are multiple choices to make.
I can't see any practical way it can be changed. It just goes to show how carefully you have to read everything when you buy anything online.

I realise that you often have to select from multiple options (size, colour, power rating etc.) in order to specify what you want but the number of items you require has nothing to do with the item's specifications. Perhaps if the wording attached to the field which determines the number ordered said 'Number of items required' or 'Number ordered' it would clarify the issue. But I take your point ...it's always better to double check and if necessary contact the seller. It's just a shame eBay haven't bothered to try eliminating the problem. They have lots of smart people and this problem doesn't seem insoluble!
