Product recall notice - seller no longer active.

I received a message from Ebay 2 days ago to inform me that an item (sofa bed) I have purchased has been recalled for a product safety failure, and upon following the link it shows that this is due to failure of the fabric and foam against fire resistance.

I purchased this item 3 years ago, and the ebay seller no longer exists.

I have no other contact, and I received a link to another company but it looks like the product recall was more than a year ago and no other information exists.

Is there anything that I can do, or do I just have to throw it out and write it off as a loss now?

Ebay MBG is only for 30 days, so far too late for them to help.

If seller is no longer trading, I can't see you be able to do anything.

Only you can decide if safe to use.
