Problem with returning a shipment

I have the following problem with returning a shipment to the buyer: The courier company is required to provide a contact phone number and email address for the recipient, but I only have an address. Without this additional information, the shipment cannot be sent. I am trying to contact the seller, but I am not receiving any responses from him.

In your last line do you mean buyer?

Use a laptop / PC and Chrome never sure if all options are available on the limited app and mobile browser,  then go to the view order details top left when you click on the sold item.

Then on the right under Order,  click on ' Show contact info'  it will give you the buyer's phone details and any possible email registered.

I checked, but there is no additional information about the seller.
I mean the seller, because I am the buyer, and I am returning the shipment back to the seller.

Тhe problem is in the eBay terms and conditions:
"We don't allow our members to: Exchange any personal information (except names), including email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, social media links or accounts, or other contact information"

Without this data the courier refuses to accept the shipment.

Aaaah sorry for the misunderstanding in your first line you said you were returning to the buyer.

Therefore as a buyer you would not be privy to that information.

As time is short for returning items and if the seller is not obliging with their email / phone details, after a transaction has been made they are allowed to send you those details, then you'll have to contact eBay Customer Services explain you cannot return the item without this info, as courier will not accept,  how do they suggest you should continue.

This is not a business seller by chance?  If so,  scroll to the very bottom of their listing you may find more contact information there.

If you need to, I strongly recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning when the lines first open at 8 a.m. as there's more chance of Dublin answering.  CS is open 24 hours,  but outside ' regular opening times'  it's an auto bot response!

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

Problem with returning a shipment

In circumstances like this I just put my own phone number and email address.

If there are any important updates or issues that the recipient needs to know about I just contact them via eBay messages to let them know about them.

Problem with returning a shipment

A friend gets round this problem by giving her own email. It is only to advise status of transaction, she gets email and passes it on to the person expecting delivery
