Problem with delivery

Seller has marked item as sent and i have a tracking number, but it has not been sent, there is a problem. Seller has told me to open up a request with ebay as he can't resolve this until i do. What does he want me to do and how do i do it?

You have 30 days from estimated delivery date to open an official  'Item not received' case below --- follow the instructions carefully and escalate to eBay on day 4 for their assistance in obtaining a refund >

As advised, you need to open an item not rceieved case.

A link has been provided for you.

You can do this one day after the latest estimated delivery date, so you may need to check the email you got from Ebay when you paid to check that you are not opening a case too early.

 

Really, the seller should cancel the sale which will trigger a refund and save you the bother of potentially waiting while you open a case etc.  You could suggest they do this.
