Ebay has asked us to provide National Insurance number to comply with UK Digital Reporting Legislation and as we are not subject to HRMC legislation being based on Isle of Man (which is part of British Isles but a self autonomous Crown Dependency) we have checked with IOM Tax division in Government and this morning they say there is no legislation in place in Manx tax law so we do not have to comply.I am rightly concerned that Ebay having suspended our account will not be able to grasp that status of the Isle of Man.Comments please.
