Price change at checkout

I'm based in UK and trying to buy from US. The face price of an item goes up a 100 when I click buy now. This is not eBay fees or shipping fees or import fees. The actual item price goes up by an odd 100 something dollars. The seller does not understand it either. It is impossible to contact eBay support. Any idea what is going on? The price in total should come out as roughly 700 something USD but it comes up to almost a grand (I am aware of taxes and fees).

Oh I see that all you’re missing is the import fee but your item is still ramping up to $790. Any idea why the price is going up?
