Pre-Postage refund

I have paid eBay £2.70 for a pre-postage label which I did not use . The RM postage cost turned out to be £3.90 which I paid myself.  I think I’m now owed a prefund on the unused prepaid label?

Re: Pre-Postage refund

Sellers only pay postage when they have Free Delivery on their listings.   Where postage is showing buyer pays and they automatically get a refund for unused labels within 30 days.   You cannot get a refund for the extra postage you  bought yourself.

Re: Pre-Postage refund

That’s okay. Only want the refund for the unused label. Thanks. I’ll look out for that unused label refund within 30 days

Re: Pre-Postage refund

You won't automatically get a refund.

As you are the seller and you paid for the postage (£2.70 to Ebay for Simple Delivery), you have to apply for a refund by completing a form within 14 days of the sale.

If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling
