Posted to Argos. I think buyer will need to pay extra postage fee

Hello, I am a long time ebay seller but very recent user of ebays simple postage service. I believe that I sent a small parcel with large letter postage. This item was sent to Argos so that the buyer can collect. Will the buyer be informed that they need to pay the extra postage to? Obviously I will be very much apologising and compensating them.

Unlikely buyer will be asked to pay it, as Argos would have to pay before RM deliver it.

More likely it will be refused.

If it is, buyer needs to open item not received case, as you can't prove delivery, you have to refund.

Best wait to see what happens.

It might be a good idea to advise buyer of the potential problem, so they do not get surprised if they are unable to pick up at Argos.
