Hi
I didn't want to use the postage option that ebay selected being the cheapest, as the item was worth £200 so I went to the Post Office and paid for Special Delivery.
I have let the buyer know the tracking number and I have updated this in on the item page, but I am concerned that as I paid for the other label and I have not posted it using this label, that it is not going to show it having been delivered and therefore I will not get my money.
How do I override the postage on my item, so the item will be marked as having arrived.
Thank you. Sue

If you've added your tracking number to the order then this will be fine.

You can claim a refund of the postage you will have been charged here https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller this has to be done within 14 days of sale but there was no need for Special Delivery as Simple Delivery covers items up to £750 for damage or loss during transit.
