the buyer wants me to delay sending the item till the 6th June but the label says post by the 3rd June on it so I'm not sure what to do can someone advise please I am new to these printed labels and not sure if it is ok to use the label after the 3rd June. Thanks in advance

It's very annoying when buyers ask this After buying!  If you delay posting,  you will receive a late delivery defect on your account.  The label you purchased is also only valid for 7 days .

Best way forward is to send a message to your buyer that  because of the above,  you will cancel the order,  with their permission, and relist nearer the time when they are able to receive their item.

Cancel selecting ' Buyer Requests to Cancel',  this refunds the buyer and your seller performance is not affected.

A refund is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:

• If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

• If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

Thank you so much for your quick response to my query.Im beginning to wonder if it's worth the bother. I've emailed the buyer twice and had no response. I told her I couldn't hold the item till the 6th June and then again to tell her if she wants to cancel the order it's fine. I have now sent her a message to say if I don't hear from her I am posting the item out and that is what I will do. The label has to be used by the 3rd of June. I do appreciate your help with this matter. Thanks once again x
