Hi all I’m locked in Request Closed

I’ve purchased an item, it was delayed in “simple delivery” with Envi. I made a request and eBay cased it and finally it was progressed to delivery to my click and collect place but on the day it was due the item had been sent back to seller. Which eBay rejoiced in “request closed” I’m now locked in with no item and no money?
Any hints or ideas? please

If an item is not picked up within 7 days it can either be destroyed , given to charity or I think as it causes more work for the store,  sent back to the seller.

The latter it seems happened here.

Send the seller a message, if they have received the item, they have the payment for it too,  morally it's the right thing to do,  to refund you now.
