The best solution here is for the seller to cancel the order and relist it for you to buy again, with only a Collection option.
That way , when you buy it again and pay through eBay checkout , you will receive that all important 6 digit QR code, which you hand to the seller to scan, as this is the only proof the item has been collected and will release their payout sooner.
Send the seller a message explaining the above, and if they cancel the order citing Buyer Requests to cancel, this will fully refund you, and also will not affect their seller performance.
Messages between you both must make it very clear the item will be relisted on eBay for the buyer to buy again, that this is not for an off eBay sale !
