Latest update : the buyer eventually paid for the item including custom fees and postage. I packaged the item and printed out the postage label but to my surprise the address to be posted to is in the UK. Looking further into it the buyer has a French name and has an address in France but instructions not to post to this address. No problem with that but on checking my account I have been deducted £1.98 + £0.40 VAT transaction fee 'charged because the delivery address is in France'. That patently isn't the case so how do I go about reclaiming this fee?
