The DVD was listed with Ebay's Simple Delivery.
The buyer paid Ebay £2.94 and Ebay issued a label/QR code for you to use to send the DVD.
Because the buyer paid the postage direct to Ebay, eventually the buyer will be refunded the cost of the unused label so you have effectively lost the amount you paid to post the DVD.

Thanks for the speedy reply jckl1957. That's annoying. I filled out the usual Postage section in the listing and don't recall adding any sort of Label / QR to it. or signing up for Simple Delivery - wish I had now!
Any idea if I can contact someone at ebay (i know). Perhaps the buyer will forward it (fingers crossed) when they get reimbursed.

You don't have to 'sign up' to Simple Delivery.
It is mandatory for private sellers.
If you plan to continue to list on Ebay, set aside half an hour to read how Simple Delivery works. Follow all the links and read the FAQs.
The only way you can get the buyer's address is by accessing the label that Ebay supply. You are supposed to use that label, that the buyer paid for, to send the item.
There is a QR code if you don't have a printer.
Most of your items are listed with Simple Delivery - check your listings where the postage section is - you may have a 'postage policy' showing but it will say 'Simple Delivery will override your domestic postage policy.'
