Postage label problem

I bought a postage label for an item I sold - took the item to the post office and they said the label was for a large letter and not suitable for the item I was sending. I then just stuck on my own address label of the buyer and paid for Royal Mail 48hr tracked and sent it off. 

Now I can't get my funds because presumably the pre-paid label will never be marked as delivered (as it was never used).

Any opinions welcome !!

You can contact Ebay Customer Services and ask them to update the tracking.

Or, you can wait until 14 days after the transaction when your funds will be released.
