Postage for pre order items

Hi, I made a listing for a buy it now item which is a pre-order item and will not be available until late August early/ early September. I did note this in the description and the buyer is happy with the delivery date. My question is that there were no options for a later than 3 day delivery once sold, and my item is now stating that it’s overdue for delivery. Will this order get cancelled and refunded, or is there a a way to update? Appreciate any advice

I suggest you read about pre orders, as they should be delivered within 40 days.

adding to the advice already given -

you need a business account to do pre-order as you are buying to sell.
