Postage cost

Can anyone help with this I am quite new to eBay , I selected large letter by Royal Mail postage option but when the item has sold it has come through with a yodel label that I had to purchase for more cost than the Royal Mail option ? How does this  happen and can I do anything about it ? Thank you

You do not have to use the Ebay suggested postage or buy your postage from Ebay.

Package the items up, take them to the Post Office and pay over the counter.

You have charged the cost of a letter - 87p covers an item up to 5mm thick.

Well packaged, your items may go as a large letter, up to 2.5cm thick - get the Post Office counter staff to check when you pay.

I have assumed this is for the 'sea fishing rigs'. Your other items have sold with Simple Delivery so Ebay supply a label paid for by your buyer.

Go to 'orders' to void the Yodel label you have bought.

You can view, manage, print, and void postage labels from the Orders page in My eBay or Seller Hub:
