Postage charges

Hi

I have just sold a item that had a postage cost of £2.50 ( acual cost was £4.10) , and have posted the item using my own Royal Mail stamps to cover the postage signed for cost.

But looking at my transaction and it shows ebay have taken the £ 2.50 cost for themselves and provided a label, ( which I have not used !).

Cheers

Postage charges

If you paid for the original label you can cancel it here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

Also see if you can change the tracking number at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.   That has to be done on a desktop browser.   If not generate the original Simple Delivery label and try again.

Hi
The buyer was charged for the postage, but I have posted the item using my
own stamps and got signed for at the pist office

That is why it is very unwise to let buyer buy and pay for label, as this is what happens. You have paid for postage and buyer gets refund for unused label.

Hi
I just put a postage charge, not even the full amount to the listing, it
really cost me more than what I charged, or it seems what ebay charged !
