Postage Issue resoultion

A pacakge was posted with incoorect Postage and subsequently delayed at Royal Mail, customer reported the item hadn't arrived to Ebay. Parcel later arrived through Royal Mial, bought through Ebay but this hasnt changed the status of the delivery. We'd like to credit the order for the extra costs incurred on the postage of the item, but ebay will only let us send a full refund. No help at all from the bots and there seems to be zero! customer service coming from Ebay. 

 

Anybody else had this issue?

Postage Issue resoultion

Wait until the tracking has updated and the item not received case has closed.

Then send a partial refund - you can use the reason 'postal discount'.

It is expecting you to fully refund because of the open case.

You should be able to make a partial refund, just follow the instructions on this eBay guidance page:
