Pokémon pre order never delivered

Hi all. I purchased a Pokemon Journey Together ETB back in January on a pre order and wasn’t expecting it anytime soon. Unfortunately, the seller has deleted his account and has stolen my money. I can seem to get through to eBay to initiate my buyer protection. Can anyone please help.

A seller cannot delete their account if they have current transactions,  but eBay can,  if a seller cannot fulfill those transactions,  and breaching selling rules,  which seems to have happened here.

Contact eBay Customer Services,  explain the issue they can initiate the steps for your refund.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

There is no eBay protection for you here - eBay do not permit sellers to list pre-orders unless they can guarantee delivery within 40 days, see their policy page here:

So, your seller must've listed an earlier delivery date, and buyers have 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date showing on their order to claim via eBay.

If you paid with a debit or credit card you have 120 days from your payment date to issue a not received chargeback.
